Synopsis

David Clemens, a teenager terrified of dying if he touches anyone, lives in isolation, struggling with his fear. His mother sends him to a treatment center for troubled teens. But David’s withdrawn personality makes it hard for him to connect with the other patients or his therapist. There, he tentatively connects with Lisa, a fellow patient who experiences multiple personalities. One personality speaks only in rhymes, while another is silent. Through their shared struggles, they both learn about mental health and relationships, growing closer and developing empathy. This film explores isolation, fear, and acceptance as David tries to understand his condition and connect with someone despite his phobia.
