I had completely put out of my mind just how irritating the children’s yelling could be. I do have to give credit where it's due regarding Cujo himself; however, this version of Stephen King’s story possibly isn’t aging gracefully, and didn’t strike me as strongly as I initially believed. Final rating:★★½ - There were numerous aspects that resonated with me, but ultimately the film wasn’t entirely successful.

I found this film to be surprisingly good and satisfying, likely because I’m fond of cats and don’t particularly care for dogs. My son, who is thirteen, and I really liked it together. Since I haven't gotten around to reading the book, it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the movie, in my opinion. Fans of this type of story will probably want to buy a copy and watch it again.
