It’s just that John C Reilly is the kind of person you’d trust with your belongings. What this movie needed was a character who felt like an unpleasant individual, someone with a look that would invite a hit. I'm tired of seeing so many unremarkable urban settings. There's an enjoyable plot here. The cast is appealing. It had some surprising humor. And it’s brief.

I questioned whether or not I’d enjoy this film at one point, but ultimately I’m pleased that I didn’t give up on it; the final section really made it worthwhile. There’s a pervasive sense of distrust throughout, and the plot developments are genuinely impressive. Diego Luna is incredibly charming too!
