The film 'Cowboys' is a moving and affecting work, both gentle and strong. The last scene really stayed with me (I won’t say what happens), but it highlights how the uncomplicated perspective and willingness to embrace others that children possess can offer a sense of optimism even when confronted with prejudice and narrow-mindedness.
