“La Comunidad” unfolds entirely inside an apartment complex, presenting a darkly humorous and suspenseful narrative centered on the building’s inhabitants as they pursue a briefcase containing a substantial sum of money. The film, helmed by Spanish genre director Álex de la Iglesia, maintains an unrelenting momentum from beginning to end.

It’s not exactly groundbreaking cinema, though there are times when enjoying a lighthearted Spanish film can be entertaining.
