It’s remarkable how quickly time has passed; Andy is now a teenager, sixteen years old, and serving in the armed forces. The familiar terror of Chucky returns as he attempts to claim another child’s life. Surprisingly, this installment finds him displaying an even greater sense of humor.

This film manages to capture elements of both the earlier _Child's Play_ films and the more recent _X of Chucky_ series, concerning its setting and overall feel. While this approach doesn't consistently benefit the movie, there are still some enjoyable moments within this installment. Final rating:★★½ - There was a good deal here that I liked, but it didn’t fully come together.
