This film is remarkably good! *Censor* has a strong starting idea, and thankfully, that concept is carried out exceptionally well. The overall atmosphere of the movie feels incredibly close to flawless; the tone works perfectly, and the 1980s visuals seem spot on. It moves along at an ideal speed, without any slow parts. Niamh Algar delivers a fantastic performance as the central character. I recently saw her do impressive work in television’s *Deceit*, which aired not long before this film came out in theaters; there are some (slight) parallels between them, definitely regarding the kinds of dark characters she portrays. She really stands out, although the other actors deserve credit as well. Reading what others have written, it appears that people’s opinions depend on how they feel about the ending. As for me, I consider it a very good resolution.
