This film is a definite improvement over the second installment, coming surprisingly close to matching the quality of the original. My initial impression wasn’t positive, but things picked up considerably once her character had to attend a different school. The humor felt stronger, and the plot was much more engaging this time around.

The film assembles a group of women to form a unique cheerleading team, departing from established conventions and avoiding tired stereotypes about racial divisions. I found it to be an enjoyable watch.
