I'm struggling to find words after watching this movie. Looking back, maybe I shouldn’t have viewed it so soon after eating. It's truly disgusting, possibly among the most repulsive films I've encountered. And that’s a serious assessment. The imagery and circumstances depicted are enough to provoke nausea. There’s no suspense to be found; it simply doesn’t manage to frighten you. Nor does it offer any humor, so don't go in expecting a comedy. It feels like a low-quality production riddled with unpleasantness. The film seems to depend almost entirely on special effects and makeup, which means there isn’t much to admire from the actors or the writing. The plot itself is unremarkable; it focuses on an older woman who transforms into a zombie that consumes human flesh, alongside her strained connection with her son. Consequently, I don't feel any need to discuss the performers, as they all appear inexperienced and visibly uncomfortable in their roles. Despite this, I suspect its distribution was limited outside of English-speaking regions. Those who enjoy extreme horror might find something worthwhile here. It’s likely that some viewers will recognize and appreciate the awkward attempts at dark comedy. However, I imagine I represent the majority who would prefer to avoid this film entirely or wish they had never seen it.
