The film attempts to offer a fresh perspective on the familiar high school comedy through a queer and feminist lens; however, it ends up as an unrestrained and unpleasant spoof that mistakes sensationalism for depth. I also feel the writer made a questionable choice including sexual content in a movie set during adolescence. There are far better options available.
