While *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* doesn’t quite reach the heights of the first film, it delivers a striking and lovely memorial to Chadwick Boseman's impact, presenting an affecting narrative about how grief can be a form of enduring affection. The story falters when it shifts away from its core focus and attempts to incorporate elements from other corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Namor and Riri are negatively affected by this shift. The action sequences generally succeed in being exciting, although some visual effects and lighting appear uneven. The music and sound design are particularly noteworthy and create a lasting impression. The actors give intensely heartfelt and impactful performances, notably Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, and Danai Gurira. Thoughtful timing helps to lessen the impact of the film’s length. It's absolutely worth dedicating your emotions to this movie. Rating: B+
