The film wasn’t bad, but there was definitely room for improvement. What bothered me most was the constant, often silly, music playing underneath everything; it really contributed to a feeling that things were overly sentimental.

It’s hard for me to give Between Worlds my full endorsement, however, if you happen upon it and don't have to pay to view it, I would suggest watching at least the first few minutes just to witness Nic Cage discussing a picture of his family. It’s pretty funny. _Final rating:★★ - There were aspects that resonated with me, but ultimately it didn’t quite come together._
