Synopsis

Au Yeung Wai Yip is a seasoned private detective specializing in missing persons and infidelity cases. He takes on a unique assignment when the owner of a travel agency hires him to investigate his girlfriend – who is, unbeknownst to him, his own wife. Accustomed to objective truth-seeking for clients, Au Yeung struggles with confronting the reality of his marriage. Overwhelmed, he abandons another case – a client searching for his missing fiancée – and instead pursues the suspected affair at a hotel. The marriage ultimately ends, and the client's fiancée is found murdered after his departure. What began as a seemingly routine infidelity case escalates into a deadly tragedy.
