I hold Zach Snyder in very high regard as a filmmaker; he possesses a singular creative perspective and produces movies that are unlike anything else out there. It appears he appreciates being something of an unconventional figure who is still given the freedom to create whatever he envisions, similar to Robert Rodriguez’s position back in the nineties and early two thousands. This zombie action film, *Army of the Dead*, doesn’t quite reach the heights of others in the genre. It’s incredibly violent and consistently engaging, making Army of the Dead something action and horror enthusiasts should definitely see. I would have liked to have seen more moments featuring Vanderohe (played by Omari Ha…
