This latest entry doesn’t disappoint; it remains a superb addition to what is arguably the greatest comedy-mystery series ever made. The chemistry between William Powell and Myrna Loy is captivating, and they are surrounded by strong performances from the other actors, an impressive screenplay, and some of director Woody Van Dyke's most noteworthy contributions.
