Unexpected events—his brother's unpredictable behavior and the arrival of Irakli (Bachi Valishvili) at the school—lead him to question aspects of himself within a society that doesn’t look kindly on homosexuality. Gelbakhiani delivers an outstanding performance; he is clearly a skilled dancer, and his ability to communicate emotion through movement is remarkable and touching. The traditional music, often featuring just percussion alongside occasional references to Abba, contributes to the film's understated authenticity, portraying this aspiring young man’s journey toward what one hopes will be a brighter future. The final few minutes are particularly impressive, showcasing his talent, persistence, and resolve.
