"Agent Zeta" proves to be an uneven experience. What works well includes the serviceable action sequences, a captivating backstory, and characters who feel fully realized with believable reasons for their actions. However, there are problems; the film exhibits political slant (the ETA group's actions seem rooted in Spain’s complicated political situation, exacerbated by instances of harsh rule), the narrative feels somewhat disjointed and can be challenging to grasp as a result, alongside an inconsistent rhythm. Ultimately, it's a reasonably enjoyable action thriller originating from Spain, though it does have its flaws.
