I decided to check out this film because of its positive reception, not really based on what it was about or who starred in it. Now I’m left feeling a little unsure if I missed something—like maybe I'm not understanding it properly. Because honestly, the movie felt disorganized to me. While there were some visually interesting moments and the acting was decent, everything seemed disconnected and unclear. The shaky camera work and flashing images that didn’t seem to have any purpose made it hard to follow what was happening, aside from the straightforward relationship between the father and daughter. Some of the calmer moments felt like they just stopped abruptly, resembling a painting, and then the film would jump ahead, leaving me wondering about what had just happened. There were suggestions about the father’s sadness and where that might take him—things we weren't directly told—and those scenes should have been important for developing the story and its atmosphere. Instead, they came across as if they were simply added on as an afterthought.
