Synopsis

The recovering governor is growing increasingly restless within the confines of the de la Vega household. Only the sound of a music box seems capable of calming him. As soon as the melody begins, he drifts into sleep. Aware that the Rebatos still plot his demise, Diego uses the box to lull him, and then Bernardo carefully moves him to a safer place.
