Synopsis

Anna Maria Verdugo journeyed back to Monterey from San Francisco, and quickly found herself the focus of Ricardo del Amo’s attention. A friend of Diego’s, Ricardo possessed a mischievous spirit and an unwavering fondness for practical jokes. He observed that Diego, too, harbored feelings for Anna Maria, and conceived a plan to playfully divert his friend's affections.
