Synopsis
In Algiers on December 26th, 1994, members of the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) seized Air France Flight 8969 after it landed in Marseilles. The French National Gendarmerie's counter-terrorism and hostage rescue unit, the GIGN, then launched an attempt to storm the aircraft and free the hostages.
