This show manages to capture teenage emotions and perspectives exceptionally well. The LGBTQ+ storyline and romantic elements feel genuine. It's significant that Wilhelm’s sexuality isn’t explicitly defined, as people don’t always need to announce their identity. The actors are well-chosen; they appear age-appropriate and avoid the usual teen stereotypes of flawless appearances and exaggerated physiques. While watching, I found myself relating to the characters considerably. The performances are outstanding, generating a strong emotional response in the viewer. And the music is fantastic too.
