What a fantastic beginning! I was completely captivated, holding my attention from start to finish. The way each character was introduced really worked for me. The visual presentation is superb; everyone looked great. The lighting was particularly effective, especially during the scenes set in the club. The dynamic between Dean and Moth is incredibly exciting, and William and Est have wonderful chemistry together. I appreciated seeing the friendships between Dean and Ten & Moth and Pun—they seem very real. The episode’s structure and rhythm were well-handled; the events leading up to the next installment left me really eager to see what happens. (The music is playing over and over in my head! It's fantastic!) Things are getting complicated! This episode significantly increased the suspense and sense of mystery. We witnessed each character making some pretty interesting decisions, I have to say. I found myself constantly wondering “What’s his purpose?” and “Why would he act that way?”. It was a state of excited bewilderment. I am very interested in discovering the histories behind these characters' actions. There is so much hidden beneath the surface; it has a layered quality, like an iceberg. I love seeing all the different locations used for filming—it creates a very detailed, varied, and believable world. I’m really enjoying watching Barcode and Kin. Ten always manages to make me laugh, and I'm curious about what lies beneath Dr. Pun’s professional demeanor. William and Est are bringing so much life to Dean and Moth. The shifts in tone have been jarring. But there are some truly special moments here…..that I know I will remember for a long time. It gives me butterflies…..crazy butterflies!
