Synopsis

Gabrielle’s pregnancy progressed with startling speed, culminating in the rapid birth of a daughter she named Hope. The child's lineage, however, cast a long shadow. Born of the malevolent god Dahuk, Hope presented Xena with an impossible dilemma: destroy the infant and sever the connection to darkness, or shield her from a fate she could not comprehend. Torn between these conflicting imperatives, Xena wrestled with a burden that threatened to consume her.
