Synopsis

Because of his affiliation with The Alliance, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is barred from challenging Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. Undeterred, Shane McMahon devises a scheme to grant Austin another opportunity. Chris Jericho and WCW Champion The Rock form an alliance with WWE Referee Mike Chioda, preparing to face The Dudley Boyz and Alliance Referee Nick Patrick in a contest to pave the way.
