Synopsis

Following his abduction of Paul Bearer on the preceding SmackDown, Edge leverages his captive to gain an advantage over World Heavyweight Champion Kane. With the path to Survivor Series nearing its conclusion, a confrontation erupts between the teams of Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio, prompting SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long to arrange a special main event.
