Synopsis

A ripple of unrest spreads through The Alliance when Mr. McMahon announces the impending defection of WWE Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to WWE. This news provokes resentment among Austin's allies, while internal struggles continue for The Chairman. The Rock and Chris Jericho clash fiercely for the WCW Championship, and elsewhere, Rob Van Dam finds himself in competition with Booker T, among others.
