As the tension between Kurt Angle and Triple H escalated beyond her capacity to manage, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley made a desperate plea to Commissioner Mick Foley: cancel their scheduled match at Unforgiven. But Foley had a different course in mind. He decreed that all three would compete in a Six-Person Intergender Tag Team Match.
