Synopsis

In the main event, Shane McMahon challenged The Rock for the WWE Championship. Triple H’s pursuit of the title was temporarily sidelined, though he was granted a chance to compete for Rikishi's Intercontinental Championship. However, Chris Jericho’s interference at Triple H’s expense resulted in a Handicap Match for the popular performer. Kurt Angle also competed.
