Samoa Joe, NXT Champion, seethed with indignation at being excluded from the decision regarding Shinsuke Nakamura's upcoming title match at TakeOver: Brooklyn. He flatly refused the proposed contest. When General Manager William Regal presented him with an ultimatum – accept the match or relinquish the championship – Joe’s response was one of simmering fury.
