Synopsis

Following the shocking conclusion of last week's contest between Bayley and Nia Jax, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that Bayley was medically unfit and would not be cleared in time for a rematch against NXT Women’s Champion Asuka at TakeOver on June 8th. While Bayley will ultimately receive her opportunity, Regal declared that Nia Jax, Carmella, and Alexa Bliss would compete in the evening’s main event to determine Asuka’s next challenger.
