Synopsis

Finn Bálor returned to NXT this week for the first time since Samoa Joe ended his nearly nine-month reign as champion. The Demon spoke plainly, stating that each of his encounters with the submission specialist had been a closely contested affair. However, before he could expand on this, Bálor's scheduled opponent for the main event, Elias Samson, interrupted with a song designed to ridicule the former champion. Bálor swiftly ended the impromptu performance, silencing Samson with a Pele Kick jus
