Synopsis

The Fleece Fair brings a vibrant bustle to Kingsbridge, yet a shadow hangs over the town: the ancient bridge groans under the strain of years and may collapse at any moment. Caris, burdened by a marriage devoid of affection, persists in seeking out Merthin, striving to secure him the chance to restore the vital structure.
