Synopsis

They were adrift in the vastness of the outback, the car a fragile vessel against the endless horizon. He didn't recognize them amidst the chaos, not the faces that had become so familiar. Later, when he encountered a woman of ordinary grace – the mother of Emma’s new friend, Mary – a path of ease opened before him.
