Synopsis

On their recent rendezvous, Venus received a lavish gift from his companion: a diamond earring of considerable value. The evening, however, ended abruptly with a hasty departure. It subsequently emerged that his date was not who she claimed to be, but a thief who had used the stolen jewelry to implicate Venus in her crimes.
