Despite what others might think, I maintain that WKRP contains television’s absolute funniest episode, and also the best holiday-themed episode ever made. There's simply no comparison. It didn’t deliver constant laughter, and it wasn’t quite as wonderful as my memories suggested, but when it achieved humor, even after all these years, nothing else has come close. WKRP truly surpassed itself in nearly every aspect, and its place in comedy history as one of the very best shows is well-earned.
