Synopsis

The return of Laura Jenkins, ninth-grade English teacher, to Nantucket stirred long-dormant affections in the Hacketts. For Brian, her presence sparked a romantic fantasy, yet the reality of their reunion proved a source of awkward disappointment. Simultaneously, Roy found himself entangled with a fraudulent suitor whose intentions extended beyond love – the man sought to marry Roy's mother for financial gain.
