Seeing "Willow" for the first time gave the impression of a movie that’s silly but also kind of endearing, with some fun parts, even though it's noticeably shallow and predictable. It has something going for it, but it probably isn’t worth watching again because it doesn't quite deliver on enjoyment overall. The way the story unfolds and how the characters are presented didn’t measure up, so it didn’t create the magical or absorbing feeling I was hoping for. Even though "Willow" gained a following over time, it mostly ended up being one of those movies that feels overly sentimental and predictable. The TV show made to take advantage of the film's popularity didn’t do well and got canceled after just one season. It seemed unable to replicate what made the original movie appealing, which resulted in a disappointing and boring experience. Ultimately, both the film and the television adaptation of "Willow" didn’t make much of an impression and felt pretty uninspired and hard to get into.
