The series is based on the original Australian series, Wilfred, and stars Elijah Wood, Jason Gann, Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown. David Zuckerman, stepped down as show runner, and Reed Agnew and Eli Jorné were upped to executive producers and showrunners.
