Synopsis

David Attenborough’s latest documentary explores his enduring fascination with birds of paradise. For five centuries, these extraordinary creatures – once known as “birds from paradise” – have enchanted explorers, naturalists, artists, filmmakers, and even members of royal families. They represent a lifelong passion for David Attenborough himself. He pioneered the filming of many of their striking and often peculiar displays, dedicating years to tracking them across the jungles of New Gui
