Synopsis

As Asiatic black bears clamber through the branches and chipmunks forage on the ground, spotted sika deer make their way to the coast, seeking out kelp to add to their diet. The sight of these deer across the open terrain draws the attention of the region’s apex predator, the Amur tiger. Yet even this largest of cats faces formidable dangers; poaching and habitat loss remain a constant threat to tigers throughout Russia's Ussuriland.
