Synopsis

To ease Whitney’s financial burden, Roxanne offers her a position as assistant, with a discreet secondary task: gathering information. Eager to please Roxanne, Whitney cultivates a friendship with Lindsay (Kathy Griffin), the assistant to Roxanne's rival, making a conscious effort to win her favor. Separately, Alex undertakes a project of domestic reorganization while alone in the house. Meanwhile, Mark, navigating a romantic complication, seeks counsel from Neal and Lily.
