Synopsis

A celebration is underway for Buchan’s debut novel, ‘A History of Murder in Whitechapel.’ The team has gathered to offer him encouragement. A sharp-tongued elderly woman at the gathering makes several pointed remarks, casting a shadow over the festivities, particularly when she reminds Chandler of his lack of convictions. Later, Chandler and Miles find themselves investigating an unusual death: a vagrant, slowly crushed beneath a pile of stones.
