Synopsis

The shadows of Lucas’s past lengthen, casting a pall over Hope Valley and stirring unease in those around him. Competition for scarce labor intensifies between Lee and Gowen, each vying for the dwindling pool of workers. Adding to the shifting dynamics, an old acquaintance reappears, bringing with him a new orphan in need of care.
