The series began well and appeared hopeful given its subject matter. Initially, the first few episodes suggested an episodic structure, exploring diverse situations and challenges couples might face while planning their wedding. While some of these scenarios were presented at the start, the narrative quickly narrowed to predictable financial problems that were repeatedly reworked throughout the remainder of the show’s run. The initial setup held potential for many other ideas centered on wedding preparations. Fortunately, a well-chosen cast helped make the experience more bearable, especially considering the limited length of the series.
