The initial season managed to successfully combine humor and heartfelt moments, resulting in an enjoyable experience with a vibrant feel for the most part. The comedic elements were clever and diverse, shifting from physical comedy to quick-witted dialogue; however, this wasn't consistent across every instance, as some jokes or segments overstayed their welcome or simply weren’t engaging. These weaker moments appeared more frequently in the latter half of the season. Despite these issues, the drama delivered both humor and a story that developed well. The cast had great chemistry which improved the comedic timing, while the storyline kept things moving with memorable scenes. Regarding characters, Doo Shik felt like an unnecessary addition, always relegated to a supporting role and often appearing as the weakest link, even considering his own performance. It would have been better if his character was written more effectively within the group dynamic instead of feeling like filler. Overall, it proved to be a fun and worthwhile watch for what it offered. I wouldn’t recommend watching season 2, though. In contrast, season 2 didn't live up to expectations at all; however, on its own, it was an unremarkable, inoffensive, and easily forgotten show for the most part. It failed to recapture the qualities that made the first season so appealing. The second season felt like a weak copy of what came before, struggling to find its direction. A significant problem was the change in cast members; many characters and relationships from the first season were gone without adequate replacements. This disrupted the chemistry and dynamic that had initially charmed viewers. While some new characters were occasionally amusing, they didn’t offer the same depth, humor, or connection as their predecessors, leading to forced and often unfunny moments. The writing in season 2 relied heavily on repeated jokes and predictable situations, lacking the creativity and originality that kept the first season fresh. It also felt cheapened by reusing jokes, scenarios, romances, and character types from season one. That was truly disappointing! The storylines were fragmented, and emotional scenes now seemed artificial rather than balancing out the humor. The romantic relationships, which weren't a central focus to begin with, were poorly conceived and tasteless. The pacing also suffered; episodes felt slow without any of the engaging mix of humor and character interactions that had previously defined the show. Season 2 attempted to replicate the success of its predecessor but fell short, lacking the charm, cleverness, and warmth that made the first season so popular. I suggest watching S1 and skipping S2 entirely. Season 2 receives a rating of 4/10.
