How could Mary-Louise Parker have possibly signed on for this dreadful series? This truly pathetic series?! *Weeds* is a complete embarrassment to acting, and it’s long overdue for being taken off the air. It's an unfortunate illustration of silliness and foolishness in contemporary entertainment; the show is offensively racist and demeaning. The whole thing just leaves you feeling disgusted. I can honestly say this is one of the most unpleasant shows I’ve ever seen. And if there’s any fairness to be found in the film industry, every copy should be destroyed – or at the very least locked away so it can never be shown again. Jenji Kohan, did you really make this mess? Mary-Louise Parker, you deserve better than this. SHOWTIME, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Let me clarify something: there’s a fine distinction between satire and foolishness, and *Weeds* falls into the latter category.
