It had some worthwhile ideas and decent dialogue, though the sullen adolescent started to wear thin. It seemed like a chance that wasn’t fully realized considering how much material existed. Perhaps there simply wasn’t enough substance to Wednesday’s personality to sustain it for eight installments. Despite the non-human nature of most characters, there was still a sense of genuine feeling present.
