Synopsis

Del’s burgeoning friendships at the Georgia high school stirred a disquiet in Wayne. He feared she might find a world there that eclipsed her own, or worse still, that she would choose to remain, embracing a life denied to her in Brockton. Simultaneously, the shadow of Daddy and the boys lengthened, drawing nearer. Meanwhile, Orlando lent Cole his assistance in crafting a speech for the upcoming Principals Conference.
