Synopsis

During a visit to a neighboring hospital, Watson develops a strong conviction that a patient in a persistent vegetative state has been misdiagnosed and confined to that condition for over a decade, likely suffering instead from locked-in syndrome. Following the patient's transfer to UHOP for specialized care, he unnerves the medical team with unsettling communications. Concurrently, Sherlock has returned to the city and is recuperating at Watson's residence.
